Marion County, FL. June 19 -
Marion County Supervisor of Elections advises residents on unofficial registration mailings that are potentially misleading. The Voter Participation Center (VPC) and Center for Voter Information (CVI) are expected to mail thousands of pre-filled voter registration applications to Marion County residents, arriving in June and September 2019.
The mailing is intended for residents who are not registered to vote. The data used is often inaccurate and outdated. Previous mailings have resulted in pre-filled voter registration applications being sent to already registered voters, deceased persons, minor children and even pets.
Please be advised that the Marion County Supervisor of Elections has neither printed nor distributed these unofficial mailings and are in no way affiliated.
The Marion County Supervisor of Elections is the official source for voting and election information in Marion County. If you have questions concerning your voter status or eligibility, please visit VoteMarion.com or contact us at 352-620-3290.
To be removed from future mailings by The VPC and CVI, we urge you to contact them directly.
