MAY 2025

Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month

At the Arts Council of Placer County, we believe that art is a reflection of the many cultures that make our communities vibrant and whole. This May, we’re proud to celebrate Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Month—a time to honor the artists, traditions, and stories that enrich our region.

From visual arts to music, dance to storytelling, the contributions of AAPI creatives continue to shape the cultural landscape of Placer County. Join us this month as we spotlight local artists, share upcoming events, and invite you to experience the power of art to connect, inspire, and celebrate heritage.

Thank you for helping art thrive in Placer County

Today is Big Day of Giving—

and we’re celebrating the creativity that drives our mission!

Your support today helps the Arts Council of Placer County fund community grants, youth programs, public art, and more across our region.
