Delivering Operation Shoebox by Camel in Namibia
Greetings!

This year, American Heritage Girls Troop, OH2168 (sponsored by St. Augustine's), is in need of items to help pack into our annual shoebox campaign for Operation Christmas Child. We’re going to be packing boxes on the afternoon of Sunday, November 3rd.

If you would like to contribute to our efforts, you can bring packable items to service Sunday, October 27th and Sunday, November 3rd. The girls will sort and pack the supplies into shoeboxes. What we’re most in need of are “Wow!” items, such as stuffed animals, toys, inflatable balls or musical instruments. Please contact Wendy for details! Dora and Wendy thank you for your consideration and assistance! You can also write a check to defray shipping costs. The cost to mail one shoebox is $9.00 this year. Make your checks out to St. Augustine's for shipping and needed supplies. Mark Shoebox Ministry on the memo line.

St. Augustine's has participated in this world-wide ministry since its beginning. Thank you for your generous spirit to bring the love of Christ to children all over the globe.

TEACHING OUR CHILDREN
We Are Growing, and We Need Your Help!
Eight years ago, with a few people gathered in the Maneys' living room for worship, it was difficult to imagine having an educational program for our youngsters AND our budding young adults. God has blessed us, and the day has come. This fall, led by Cathy Holmes, and assisted by Julius Tireito, our young folks are meeting on Sunday mornings.

We need your help. Whether you have a child in this group or not matters not. If you love the Lord and want to see Christian values instilled in ours at St. Augustine's, please consider volunteering once every six weeks or so. We also need assistance in the Godly Play program.

See Fr. Santosh or Cathy to volunteer.
FOOD IS THE INTERNATIONAL LANGUAGE
We Need SNACKS!!
Sharon Madama needs happy volunteers to bring goodies for fellowship hour. Please let her know how you will help. Thank you in advance to all who have fattened us up so far with homemade goodies chock full of butter and sugar! :-)
