BearBuy 24.1 Release Enhancement Coming
On March 18, BearBuy will be updated to improve the experience that occurs today when a cart is auto-returned in workflow. With the 24.1 Release, we will implement checkout validation rules to prevent the ability to submit carts into workflow in two scenarios.
This new feature will enhance system usability with the addition of checkout validation rules to improve transparency and efficiency:
1. Not Open for Ordering Return will be updated to a checkout rule to prevent from submitting a requisition if a supplier marked as Not Open for Ordering was selected on a form other than the Payment Request, Meeting and Entertainment Payment Request, or Contract Payment Request forms.
- To correct the issue, the supplier marked with Not Open For Ordering can only be used on a Payment Request, Meeting and Entertainment Payment Request, or Contract Payment Request form.
2. Zero Cost Line-Item Return will be updated to a checkout rule to prevent from submitting a requisition that contains a line with $0.00 total.
- To correct the issue, a value greater than $0.00 must be entered for the requisition line.
