In an effort to build strong relationships with the University community and share information about current initiatives, UCSF Supply Chain Management (SCM) has launched a new outreach program. We want to align our resources and efforts with your needs to help save you time and money so you can focus on your mission-driven work at UCSF.
To kick off the program, SCM has arranged 90-minute meetings with campus departments to share information about our activities, and most important, to hear your suggestions, concerns and questions. Prior to the actual meeting, we ask attendees to identify any specific questions or topics that we should come prepared to address.

Upcoming Software Form Improvements

Earlier this year, a new BearBuy Software form was introduced for software and cloud computing purchases in order to identify and mitigate notable potential risks associated with these types of transactions.
After the launch of the Software Form, we received valuable feedback from our campus community about the Software Form usage and guidance. We are listening, and based on this feedback, we are currently working to provide more clarity about form usage and improvements to the   Software Guide.

New GE Healthcare Bio-Sciences Hosted Catalog

We are excited to announce that a GE Healthcare Bio-Sciences Hosted Catalog is now available in BearBuy.
The Bio-Sciences catalog offers many products including Research Tools and Instruments for Protein Research, Cell Imaging and Microscopy, Process Analytics, and Upstream and Downstream Bioprocessing.

Q: How do I select a ship-to address from my profile?

After adding items to your shopping cart, Proceed to Checkout. Then, click the edit button next to the Ship To field to open the Ship To pop-up. Click on the "select from your addresses" dropdown. Finally, select the ship-to address, and Save.

Q: How do I search for an address (that is not saved in my profile)?
After adding items to your shopping cart, Proceed to Checkout. Then, click the edit button next to the Ship To field to open the Ship To pop-up. Then, click on the link "To choose a different address, click here." (If you don't see this link, proceed to the next step.) Next, click the link "select from org addresses" to open the Address Search pop-up. Enter your address, and click Search. Finally, select the ship-to address, and Save.
*To save the selected address to your profile, check the box "Save this address for future use."
