Life Tech Products Now Available Through The Fisher Scientific Catalog On BearBuy
UC Berkeley Researchers can now order over 25,000 of the most widely used Applied Biosystems and Invitrogen products through the Fisher Scientific punch-out catalog using BearBuy. BearBuy users who previously purchased these products from Thermo Fisher Scientific will receive the same pricing and shipping terms. Simply place your order through Fisher Scientific punch-out on BearBuy and you will be invoiced by Fisher Scientific.     
IDT Punch-Out Now LIve
Supply Chain Management is pleased to announce a new BearBuy punch-out catalog for Integrated DNA Technologies. BearBuy users will now receive contracted discount pricing on IDT products and next day free shipping. For more information on IDT products or if you have questions on ordering through the new catalog please contact Scott Hansen at 319-400-0360 or  [email protected]

IMPORTANT NOTE: Shoppers will be required to add their Principal Investigator (PI) in the punch-out before submitting their cart. Failure to add the PI's name will result in the cart remaining stuck in the IDT punch-out.
New UC-Wide Agreement With Google Cloud Platform, And G-Suite BAA
Supply Chain Management is pleased to announce that, effective immediately, the new UC-wide agreement with Google for  Google Cloud Platform  (GCP), including Business Associate Amendment (BAA) for both GCP and G-Suite, is available for use (agreement # 2019.001086). BAA applicable to both GCP and the existing UC-wide   G-Suite for Education  agreement (#UCIMP-0109).
 
The partnership between Supply Chain Management and Campus IT is focused on making the cloud services you need easily available to you, and also connecting you with the resources and support to make you successful. To that end, we want to make you aware of the  Campus Cloud Community of Practice , where you can find others building on technologies like GCP who will be happy to learn and share together with you, as well as Research IT's   Cloud Computing Support  service.

New UC-Wide Agreement With Turnitin LLC.
Supply Chain Management is pleased to announce a new UC-wide agreement with Turnitin LLC. for Gradescope Institutional license effective April 2, 2019. The agreement (#2019.001004) is a result of the recent UC-wide Online Grading Solution RFP project and is available to all UC locations. The agreement is now posted in CalUSource.

Benefits To Berkeley:
  • Discounted pricing for Gradescope Institutional license includes:
  • 5% discount for locations committing for 3 years
  • 10% discount for locations committing for 5 years
  • 5% customer loyalty discount
  • An “open enrollment” window ending on 6/30/19 for UC locations to sign up for implementation enabling UC to benefit from the aggregate volume and lower rate/FTE.
  • Fixed pricing for first 3 years.
  • Free trial license for a limited number of faculty for a minimum of one academic term to evaluate the services prior to issuing a Purchase Order.
  • Free development of customized data export and real-time feed of events.

  • Agreement includes UC Appendix – Data Security and Privacy.
Fiscal Close Information For 2018-2019
Purchase Order requests for amounts over $100,000 must be submitted before May 1st with complete documentation if orders are to be completed prior to fiscal year end, June 30. Requests for purchase orders over $5,000 must be submitted by May 24th.
