BearBuy Forms Survey
Do you use BearBuy Forms? We want your feedback!

Supply Chain Management has launched a project to improve the BearBuy experience. The Forms Project team has representatives from a range of campus units from academic to research. According to campus feedback, many users would like to see improvements made to forms. During the team's review, they found that many other UC campuses have moved to consolidating most procurement forms into three major types: Goods, Services and Payment Requests. We would like to invite you to share your thoughts in a brief survey to determine what you would like to see in the redesign.

UC Event Planner Card
Can UC's Event Planner Card (EPC) be used to pay for lodging for our Hosted Guests?
The answer to this is yes. The EPC can be used to pay for many expenses for Hosted Guests (IE, non-UC entities who we invite to an event), including hotel room nights, parking, transportation to and from an airport, room service and meals at restaurants. Contracts requiring a signature must be executed by your SCM Buyer. To find your assigned Buyer, you can use your department name or Org Node to search this matrix .

There are a host of other expenses that occur less commonly that can be paid directly using the EPC as well; if you have questions about specific expenses and whether they are allowed, email creditcard@berkeley.edu .

To learn more about the upcoming enhancements, the Berkeley Card Program will begin scheduling meetings with individual UC Departments later in Q1 to discuss ways the Berkeley Card Program can help manage department spending. If you would like to request an earlier meeting to discuss what the improved program can do for your department, email creditcard@berkeley.edu . In the meantime, if you or someone in your department would like to learn more about the Berkeley Card Program or apply for a card yourself, you can find their site here:
