Every day, we see the benefits of the work we do with our clients. A man who lived on the streets for twenty years, struggling with mental illness and addiction, is now living in stable, supportive housing. Clients who have lived in Assisted Living facilities are learning the practical life skills they need to move into independent apartments. Children who have experienced trauma are learning to regulate and communicate their emotions and needs - and their caregivers are learning how to support them. Young adults are finding support and learning vocational skills.
Yet not all of the services we provide are covered by Medicaid and other insurance. And the rates we
are paid for services do not always cover the costs of providing them. We do not turn clients away based on ability to pay. Our goal is to be able to provide quick access to needed services for everyone who needs them. To meet that goal, we need your help. Please consider donating to ACMHS this Giving Tuesday.
