Dear Self-Directing Participants and Employees,

All certifications for previously certified Support Brokers in Maryland will expire on December 31, 2024. All Support Brokers must pass the current Support Broker Certification Training in order to continue to provide services on or after January 1, 2025.

Please make sure that your current Support Broker is certified. You can make sure they are certified by checking the current Support Broker listing on the DDA’s website.

If you need to choose a new Support Broker, you can either get assistance from your Coordinator of Community Services or reach out directly to a DDA-certified Support Broker to ask about receiving services.
