The healing power of kindness is present in every gift.
It is our privilege to pass it on.
Hello,

In our final edition for 2021, we wanted to highlight how you can support our Bronson frontline employees during this highest surge of COVID-19 patients we have ever experienced. We also share our thanks to Edward Jones for supporting a variety of causes across our region. And a reminder that there is still time to give to our Good Neighbor Annual Appeal!

We wish you a safe, happy and healthy holiday season!

Sincerely,

Liz Semaan

Support and Appreciation for Bronson Frontline Staff
As COVID numbers continue to rise in southwest Michigan, Bronson employees are working hard amidst many obstacles to care for the overwhelming number of patients coming through our doors. Watch a plea for help from southwest Michigan health organizations during this COVID-19 surge.

The lasting impact of this pandemic continues to take a toll on so many. The new Bronson Mental Health and Well-Being Fund is one way you can support services and projects that focus on the mental, physical, social and emotional well-being for both Bronson employees and patients. The fund was launched on Giving Tuesday, raising more than $33,675 to support the needs of our frontline staff thanks to our generous and caring donors and community partners.

You can also continue to give to our COVID-19 Rapid Response Fund to assist with appreciation meals, snacks and other care items for staff.

There is Still Time to Give to Good Neighbor Annual Campaign
Joe M., patient at Bronson Cancer Center - Battle Creek
When faced with health challenges, patients and families can feel overwhelmed. Often, just a little bit of help can go a long way to remove barriers to healing. By giving to the Good Neighbor Campaign, you can help provide a supportive path for those receiving medical care. Gifts from Good Neighbor support transportation to medical appointments for people like Joe.

Your support is vital to ensure everyone in our community has access to the care and resources they need to manage their health challenges. We hope you will consider making a gift during our annual Good Neighbor Campaign.
Edward Jones Investments Rallies to Make an Impact
Edward Jones of southwest Michigan (Region 220), partnered with Bronson Health Foundation to support projects that are meaningful to their employees and clients. As a region, they raised more than $10,000 to fund iPads for Alzheimer's and dementia patients; Look Good/Feel Better program - which teaches beauty techniques to people with cancer to help manage the appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment; and surgery bears and pediatric vision screening to make our youngest patients more comfortable.

Tom Schripsema, financial advisor at Edward Jones shared, “The southwest region of Edward Jones is proud to be a community partner of Bronson. We love supporting Bronson, because almost every one of us, our clients, our branch teams, and their families, are touched by the work done at Bronson at some point in their lives and supporting their work is another way for us to make an impact in our communities."
