Michigan Humanities ~ Michigan Stories
Executive Update
Greetings from Michigan Humanities!

As the calendar year winds down, MHC team members are hard at work wrapping up partner visits and preparing for the incredibly exciting programs and grants we will announce in January 2019. Our Board of Directors and staff are inspired by the meaningful, creative, and vibrant approaches to humanities projects being conducted around the state of Michigan.  More than ever, local communities are connecting people through rich stories of our past, the present, and what may come next. Thank you for being a part of those stories through supporting the humanities. Despite the turmoil that may exist in the world, and the seemingly vast differences in opinions, our shared stories through the humanities bring us together and help the people of Michigan better understand one another.

Please enjoy this issue of the e-news. We appreciate your support in reaching our fundraising goals to broaden the scope and depth of humanities funding in Michigan. Be sure to watch for special announcements in January – we have so much to share!
