Servant Leadership Camp
Youth
Over 40 youth and adults from Richmond United Methodist Churches and Richmond Public Schools gathered for a week this summer to engage in relationship-based mission in their community and reflect on their spiritual gifts.
The Impact

"This fall we invited residents of Heart Havens for a Halloween Party. I was blown away by the way the youth jumped into the relational experience with little hesitation, and I credit our week at Pace with giving them the understanding and equipment to be able to relate to a group of strangers so readily. It warmed my heart."

- Dwayne Stinson,
Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries
Shady Grove UMC Mechanicsville
Clergy
More than 35 provisional clergy, members of the Bishop's Cabinet, and members of the Board of Ordained Ministry gathered at The Pace Center this summer. They spent a day engaging with relationship-based mission in Richmond and discussing how to support similar ministries all over Virginia.
VCU Student Program
Coming Spring 2019!

In partnership with VCU's Wilder School, Embrace Richmond, and Belmont UMC, VCU students will undertake a 20-hour Servant Leadership program at The Pace Center next semester. They will learn about relationship-based mission and support relationship-based ministries throughout Richmond, including those at local United Methodist Churches. Church members are invited to participate! Contact Rev. Katie B. Gooch for more information: director@thepacecenter.com
