Greetings!

Another year of growing is winding down in Southeastern Massachusetts, and we are once again inspired by the tenacity and resilience of our farming community. When faced with increased challenges, including economic and climatic pressures one could hardly anticipate, our farmers continued to work, day after day, through the heat and humidity this summer to make sure their neighbors and our communities had food to eat.

With your support, SEMAP can continue to provide services to these farmers that allow them to do what they do best - farm. This includes providing one-on-one business assistance, hosting technical workshops through our Twilight Series and annual Ag and Food Conference, distributing 10,000 copies of our Local Food Guide to promote local farms and food businesses, increasing access to local food through SNAP and HIP, and advocating to local and state officials on behalf of the needs of farmers.

We kindly ask that you consider making a donation to SEMAP’s Annual Fund to help keep local food and farms in our community and across Southeastern Massachusetts thriving.
None of this work is possible without folks like you, who care about our food system, our local food economy, and our entire community. Donating to SEMAP’s Annual Fund is your chance to help us support our local farmers, fishers, markets and so much more. As we continue pursuing our goal of a sustainable, equitable and resilient food system, we hope you will make a donation of any value to our annual fund. Your support allows us to continue the work we already do, and to develop more programs, increase our outreach and capacity, and make an even greater impact.

We thank all of our supporters for their commitment to bolstering our local food system, and look forward to another great year in 2023.
