YES served more than 500 youth in the 2021-22 fiscal year - some of them runaways.

Youth leave home to live with friends or on the streets for a variety of reasons, including an unstable home life, abuse, lack of acceptance due to sexual orientation or gender identity, and many others.

This month, join us in recognizing National Homeless Youth Awareness and National Runaway Prevention month:

  • Follow us on social media to learn about issues facing homeless and runaway youth in the Omaha Metro.
  • Support YES by buying items off of our Holiday Wish List, donating on Giving Tuesday, or providing a meal at our Street Outreach Center.
  • Wear green to highlight the need to support homeless and runaway youth in our community.

Thank you for your continued support!

SAVE THE DATE!

Giving Tuesday is November 29

Mark your calendars to give to YES on November 29 during Giving Tuesday! Help us support homeless and near-homeless youth in their desire to be self-sufficient!

Plus, when you give through SHARE Omaha on Giving Tuesday, bonus funds can stretch your support for YES even further.
