Support the Next Phase of Nature's Medicine

A Campaign to Advance Phase II of a Living Digital Archive

Dear Friends of AHP,

In case you are not familiar with Nature’s Medicine Through Time: A Landscape of People and Practices, Principles and Institutions, it is a free noncommercial archival site documenting the history of nature’s medicine, including botanicals. This extensive compilation, which was developed by Dr. Mitch Stargrove to be a resource for teaching the history, philosophy, and therapeutics of ancient traditions at medical schools, provides a browsable illustrated library of original, historical, and rare texts and records.

While Phase I of the site has been a valuable asset for four years for students, clinicians, educators, historians, and others, Phase II is ready to be developed with a new infrastructure and framework to facilitate ease of use for all. As with any project, the building of this next phase requires financial support and partnerships. According to Dr. Stargrove, there are three ways to help: contribute financially (with a goal of $50,000, the initial need for Phase II is $10,000), contribute content, and share this campaign.
