2026 METAvivor Stage IV Stampede & Summit

The 2026 METAvivor Stage IV Stampede & Summit will be held in Washington, D.C., on October 5-6, to honor National Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Day and channel the passion of those who are impacted by metastatic breast cancer. 

This event provides a platform to raise awareness of metastatic (stage IV) breast cancer, educate policymakers about the challenges faced by affected individuals, and advocate for advancing medical research and improving care. The two-day event includes an Educational Summit and March to Capitol Hill for meetings with legislators.

METAvivor Travel Stipend Opportunity - Must register before August 1st to be entered into the raffle.

METAvivor will award a limited number of $500 travel stipends through a random raffle. Individuals interested in the travel stipend may indicate this during event registration. Stipend recipients will be selected by raffle, and winners will be announced on August 1, 2026, so you must register before then.

VBCF's Karin Decker Noss Scholarship - Deadline to Apply is July 31st

Reimbursable scholarships will be awarded to help defray the following expenses to attend the 2026 METAvivor Stampede and Summit:

• Up to 2 nights of hotel at conference room rate or comparable
• Transportation to/from Washington, DC: Train fare or driving mileage  

Stage IV breast cancer thrivers residing in Virginia are eligible to apply. The amount of each scholarship will vary based on individual needs and the total number of applicants, but will not exceed $700.00.
