Dear Friends of Assistance League of Inland North County,

Assistance League of Inland North County is deeply grateful for your ongoing support of our mission to help children and families in need. As we approach Giving Tuesday, December 3rd, we hope you will join us in making a difference in the lives of those we serve.

When you support us, you help a nursing student who lost her home to fire complete her program and graduate, opening the door to gainful employment and a future free from the threat of homelessness.

When you support us, you enable a formerly incarcerated man to learn a valuable trade and become a productive community member.

When you support us, children experience the joy of having a new pair of shoes all their own, which encourages them to improve their school attendance and performance as they walk confidently into the classroom.

When you support us, you inspire children and their families to discover the joy of reading, setting them on a path to success that benefits our entire community.

The impact of your generosity is both measurable and immeasurable. It's measurable in the well-fitting clothing, shoes, and books we provide to children in need and in the diplomas earned through our scholarship programs. But it's the immeasurable impact that truly touches lives: the confidence a child gains from learning to read or the hope a student feels as they complete a college program, all leading to brighter futures for individuals, families, and our community.

None of this is possible without your support. On Giving Tuesday, December 3rd, we ask that you consider making a donation to continue the vital work we do. Whether by mail or through our website, your generosity will help transform lives.

Giving Tuesday is here, and we are excited to share your impact! Below, we’ve highlighted the incredible people we’ve been able to support, thanks to your generosity. From toddlers to young adults, we’ve been there to entertain, encourage, and empower children in their daily lives and educational journeys.

At the Assistance League of Inland North County, our mission is simple: to transform the lives of children and families and build healthier, more productive, and more educated communities. As we approach our 40th Anniversary, we are deeply grateful for all we’ve been able to accomplish. But we can only continue this important work with the ongoing support of our members, friends, and those yet to learn about us.

Please help us expand our reach by sharing this message with your friends and neighbors and donating to us tomorrow. Happy Holidays and thank you for being part of our mission!

Operation School Bell

Operation School Bell is a transformative program that provides new school clothes and shoes to children who may never have experienced the joy of wearing something new. For these children, receiving a fresh set of clothes isn’t just about a new outfit—it’s about reclaiming their dignity, self-worth, and pride. When they put on clothes that fit well and look good, their confidence soars, and they feel empowered to succeed in school and believe in their own potential. Parents see this newfound confidence and are filled with greater hope for their children’s future and success in the community.

Scholarships

Meet Jilda A, one of our scholarship winners in the Nursing Program at Palomar College. Not only is she the first college student in her family, but along with her brother, she was a recipient of new school clothes and shoes as a grade school student in Operation School Bell. She recognizes that the Assistance League has helped facilitate the success of her educational journey since she was a child and continues to do so.

“Your generosity has inspired me to work harder, dream bigger, and strive for excellence in everything I do. I am committed to honoring your investment by excelling academically and making a meaningful impact in the nursing field”.

Operation Duffel Bag

Operation Duffel Bag provides large backpacks filled with essential supplies—such as blankets, towels, kitchen tools, and gift cards—to graduating high school seniors facing housing insecurity. These students, referred by the local school district, are preparing to transition to independent living, whether by attending college, entering trade school, joining the military, or entering the workforce. Many have little to nothing to start their new lives. Our dedicated volunteers purchase the items, solicit gift card donations from local businesses, and pack the duffel bags, which are then delivered to the school district offices each spring to support these young people in their journey toward independence.
