It's Monday, January 22 and the month is nearly over. We all survived the crazy cold temps and now its going to be in the high 30s. That's t-shirt weather for us in the North Woods. It also makes great shopping weather. Roads are great so grab your friends and hit the road shopping.

Saturday is Support Your Local Quilt Shop Day! No matter where you live, please make an effort to support your local independent shops. These shops offer personalized services and expert advice that big box stores can't match.

When you spend your dollars at a local shop, you are not just supporting the business but also your community. Local shops contribute to so many community events. They are the backbone of fundraisers for organizations, support for residents in need, school donation requests, sponsorships for events, and much more. Often, people are not aware of how much local businesses donate to local causes. Your dollars help support all of these community needs.

Sewing Technique Virtual Class

This virtual class is held once a month on the third Saturday of the month. This is a 10-month program that runs through the year. It focuses on many different techniques in the sewing and quilting world. These may be reviews for some and completely new for others. All classes are recorded and available to class members only for future reference.

This class contains a vast area of information. From basic sewing techniques to advanced quilting.

It is a demonstration class in which a subject is demonstrated and talked about. There is time for shows and tell as well. Sign up below.
