New Trades Scholarship Program!

The United Way of the Yampa Valley (UWYV) is excited to introduce the Skilled Trades Scholarship Program, which aims to empower individuals in Moffat, Rio Blanco and Routt Counties by providing financial support for training in high-demand skilled trades. We are dedicated to addressing workforce gaps, fostering financial stability, and promoting regional economic development. Thanks to a generous donation from AES Solar and matching donor funds, UWYV in cooperation with regional partners will offer scholarships for certifications, licensing, and training in career fields such as welding, cosmetology, carpentry, electrical, plumbing and landscaping.

Thank you to our official sponsor, AES

The Cherry Fundraiser is Back!

Pre-purchase a 20 pound box of cherries to support Women United’s Community Baby Shower as well as high quality educational programming and prevention services for youth in Routt County.

The cherries will be picked when ripe and here no later than 36 hours of picking to ensure their freshness. You will be notified by email in late July/early August when you can pick up the cherries at a central location once we know the exact date for their arrival in Steamboat.
