Client Impact Story

Over the last few months, the Latino Leadership Council has been providing support to a single parent with two children, ages 10 and 15. This family has been subjected to severe domestic violence. Fearing for their safety, the client reached out to our organization for help.

LLC staff provided emotional and logistical support by attending court hearings with the client and children, ensuring they were not alone during this stressful process. Throughout the complex legal proceedings, the client received support in navigating difficult circumstances to ensure their protection and safety. In addition to the legal battle, the client's housing was condemned, and they faced the risk of homelessness. Our organization assisted with housing applications and connected the client to essential resources, including food, clothing, and other basic needs.

LLC staff worked diligently to ensure the family's stability during this challenging time. Today, the family resides in a new home, free from fear and abuse. They have rebuilt their lives, and now have secured safety, stability, and hope for the future.

"Latino Leadership Council is amazing, I'm grateful for all your help!"
