Hello, Welcome to another edition of the Peabody PROMISE newsletter. As we settle into the routines of early autumn, September brings an important seasonal focus: National Suicide Prevention, Recovery, and Self-Care Month. It is a timely reminder to pause, check in on ourselves, and support one another. At the same time, we want to recognize that caring for our community isn't limited to a calendar month. We have dedicated members who aim to help every single day of the year. A heartfelt thank you goes out to our first responders, social services and health department teams, school guidance counselors and all community partners who selflessly work to make Peabody a safer and healthier place for all of us. As a newsletter subscriber, you too can play a vital role. You can help by sharing information for special events, workshops, and the resources available —or simply ask someone to subscribe to the newsletter so they stay connected, too! Just share this link to our website, it's that easy! https://peabody.k12.ma.us/peabody-promise/
Thank you for your support & be well!

Part of the Peabody PROMISE initiative, Portraits of Peabody is designed to foster greater empathy, understanding, and acceptance in Peabody. Through photography and storytelling, the project builds a stronger sense of belonging throughout our community.
Several Peabody community members were featured, with their stories and photos proudly displayed on banners throughout the Wiggin Auditorium at Peabody City Hall. Residents and guests gathered to view the banners and learn more about their neighbors during an evening of conversation and connection.
