A pillar of our work at UWTC is creating lasting change by strengthening individual and community health. During this time, UWTC encourages everyone to take care of themselves, both physically and mentally, and asks that our community continue to LIVE UNITED.

It is important that we are aware of how COVID-19 may affect our individual health, as well as the health of our neighbors. Please remember that many instances of COVID-19 illness are believed to be mild, but there are groups of individuals who appear to be at higher risk of developing serious COVID-19 illness. Older adults and those with serious underlying health conditions are at a greater risk of experiencing serious illness if they contract the virus. Healthy individuals could be exposed to COVID-19, and have little to no symptomatic response, yet still have the ability to transmit it to those more vulnerable.

As you continue with your daily schedules and routines, please take the steps above to keep yourself healthy and to protect the health of others.
DO IT FOR YOU. DO IT FOR YOUR NEIGHBORS.
