Pacific Landscape Management is proud to partner with De La Salle North Catholic High School and the Cristo Rey Network by participating in their Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP).The CWSP experience provides tremendous opportunity for economically disadvantaged students to get a college-prep education, while at the same time providing a diverse, motivated, enthusiastic, entry-level work force for partner companies.
Through the CWSP, students fill entry-level office positions in banking, law, medicine, finance and many other exciting career fields including landscape management. These paid positions can cover around 50% of the student's tuition, making a transformative impact on their educational journey. Plus, they gain valuable work experience and build essential skills for future success.
What is the Corporate Work Study Program ( CWSP) ?
Partner organizations contract with CWSP to fill full-time, entry-level jobs. The fee-for-service contractual period spans approximately ten months from the middle of August to the second week in June. These jobs are paid positions, with the money earned paid directly to De La Salle North Catholic / CWSP to cover approximately 50% of the student's’ cost of education. Students are employees of CWSP. Team Orange is excited to participate in this program and support the school’s mission to provide an affordable, college preparatory education to young men and women throughout the Portland Metro Area with limited financial resources.
