When first-year students at Georgetown University School of Medicine traded in their textbooks for scrubs on their first day of gross anatomy, they were joined by student volunteers with anatomy lab experience.

The guidelines will help the general clinicians, neurologists and psychiatrists who treat the majority of patients with Huntington's disease, said Karen Anderson, MD, director of the Huntington's Disease Care, Education, and Research Center. 


Motivated by her passion for obstetrics and rural health, Nora Elizalde (G'14, G'20) is pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree while working as a certified nurse midwife in southwest Kansas and the Oklahoma Panhandle.
