Stronger Together: Expanding Access to Active Wellness
MORE OPPORTUNITIES TO STAY ACTIVE, CONNECTED, & ENGAGED
| |
We’re excited to announce a new partnership that will help us expand our reach and impact across the Pajaro Valley. The Community Health Trust (CHT) is proud to partner with the Central Coast YMCA to bring our Active Wellness program to more community members throughout the region!
From April through November 2026, we’ll be offering no-cost physical activity classes at four YMCA locations—Monterey, Hollister, Salinas, and Watsonville—providing more opportunities to stay active, connected, and healthy. This collaboration, funded in part by the Central California Alliance for Health, will also include monthly preventive health screenings led by our Wellness Nurse Practitioner.
Through Active Wellness, participants can enjoy classes that keep them moving, learning, and having fun in a supportive, inclusive environment. Whether you’re looking to boost your energy, reduce stress, or simply move more, there’s something for everyone.
For a list of current classes being offered in Watsonville, view HERE. More details, including expanded class schedules and how to join at YMCA locations, will be available soon!
