STEAM Sports Foundation
Encourages Support of Like-Minded Organizations
Atlanta, GA (Jan. 18) - I spoke at a conference recently and someone asked me what, as head of STEAM Sports Foundation, I needed most. For those of us who run foundations and are constantly in fund-raising mode, I suspect the person was waiting for me to say “money.”

But I didn’t.

I said “awareness” because without awareness, it’s impossible for people to grasp your message and vision. As I looked around that day, I saw a lot of other like-minded organizations in the same boat. Many of those organizations were run by friends and colleagues, and we all support and pull for each other.

As a result, I reached out to several of those organizations and said that I would like to create an area on our STEAM Sports Foundation website in which I could bring attention to a lot of those like-minded organizations in an effort to show them and all our followers that we are all in this together.

I think the expression goes, “Rising Tides Lift All Boats.”

With that, allow me to introduce those organizations who chose to respond to my request to provide thumbnails and links to their organizations – all of which are doing great work and need awareness as much as funding.
