Carma Mohler grants for hunger relief are OPEN

Beginning July 1st, the Foundation is accepting applications for this year's Carma Mohler grants.

Created to carry forward Ms. Mohler's legacy, this grant program provides funding to Iowa organizations making a meaningful difference in the fight against food insecurity. Previous grant recipients have included food pantries, community gardens, school backpack programs, and other initiatives that help ensure Iowans have reliable access to nutritious food.

If your organization is helping address hunger in your community, we encourage you to review the eligibility requirements and apply. Together, we can continue building stronger, healthier communities across Iowa.

Applications are due by October 1st.

Now accepting applications for HELP loans

The Foundation's HELP (Higher Education Loan Partners) program is now open, offering financial support to pastors carrying educational debt.

Designed for clergy serving in the Iowa Annual Conference, HELP allows participants to refinance seminary and other educational loans at a fixed 2.5% interest rate. This can significantly reduce monthly loan payments while also lowering the total cost of repayment. Loans from post-ordination coursework and doctoral degree programs may also qualify.
