Dear Friends and Supporters,

Thank you for your ongoing support of Pacific Clinics. The devastating wildfires in and around the Los Angeles area continue to be our focus, and we remain steadfast in our commitment to supporting you – our employees, clients, friends and community.

To date, 40 employees and clients have reported losing their homes, and many have been evacuated and returned to find their homes damaged or uninhabitable. Likewise, one of our Head Start locations and six home-based centers tragically burned down. These locations provided early education and vital resources to infants, children and families.

Our teams continue to assist clients and families by providing vital behavioral health services, food, resources and supplies. Our promise to provide hope is reflected in our work and how we come together in times of need. In response to this crisis, we established the following funds:

  • Pacific Clinics 2025 We Care Fund, a dedicated resource to support clients facing significant loss or unexpected emergencies, including natural disasters.
  • Pacific Clinics Employee Assistance Fund provides financial help to Pacific Clinics employees impacted by natural disasters and other life-altering events.
  • Pacific Clinics Head Start Fund provides help to the employees and families of our subsidiary, Pacific Clinics Head Start, specifically those impacted by natural disasters and other life-altering events.

Pacific Clinics has committed to matching a portion of donations. If you would like to assist those in need, please visit our dedicated webpage for more information.

Additionally, we are accepting tangible donations such as gift cards, baby care, school backpacks and coats. Learn more here.

We have created a page on our website that is continually updated with community and agency resources, including food, shelter and assistance for those who need it.

Resources to Impacted Individuals and Families

We understand fires can take a toll on our health, whether impacted directly or indirectly. Please read these tips from Chief Clinical Officer Laura Pancake on how to care for your mental health during this time.

Advice for Coping With Fire Devastation

We are uplifted by the meaningful support we have received for our colleagues and the people we serve.

As we approach Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and are focused on collaborating and helping rebuild the many lives impacted, we are reminded of the civil rights leader’s many valuable teachings, including, “We can all get more together than we can apart.” While this quote was about labor, it is relevant today, when we must all work and come together to support our neighbors and community.

Thank you for your dedication to Pacific Clinics and the people of Los Angeles. Please stay well.
