SUPPORTING OUR COMMUNITY THROUGH REPAIR
Whether you are riding recreationally on the Bay Trail or commuting to Downtown RWC, visitors to the Downtown Library and Redwood Shores Branch can now make use of the Library’s newly installed bicycle service stations. These sturdy stations feature air pumps, tools, and a support stand to facilitate basic repairs. The Dero Fixit Stations were made possible with funding from the Pacific Library Partnership's Innovation and Technology Opportunity Grant.
Learn skills to prolong the life of your belongings and reduce waste at an upcoming Fixit Clinic event! We'll provide the workspace, specialty tools, and guidance to help YOU disassemble, troubleshoot, and repair broken items. These events are staffed by volunteer Fixit Coaches. Come ready to learn and to share your knowledge with others! This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Redwood City Public Library and the San Mateo County Office of Sustainability, in partnership with Fixit Clinic.
