Finding Shelter for a Veteran

Nancy called the Florida Veterans Support Line looking for support for her adult son, who was a veteran. He was in Tampa and she was living across the state. She had just found out her son had been evicted and had nowhere to go. Other than the name of the street her son was on, Nancy had no details about where to find him.

Celebrating 8 Years of Supporting Veterans

October 28th marked the 8th anniversary of the Florida Veterans Support Line. While the resource was originally launched in our Gateway Contact Center, it has since expanded state-wide. Thousands of veterans and loved ones of veterans have received support and linkages to community resources from a veteran peer since the inception of the program.
