A Publication of Pathway to Living
Supporting a Good Cause

Thanks to our friends from YWCA Lake County for hosting a Happy Hour and raffle fundraiser at Oak Hill Supportive Living. Residents and team members are proud to support the local organization’s mission to eliminate racism, empower women, advance social justice and build strong families and communities.

Got a Song in Your Heart?

Happy 100th Birthday

Born February 14, 1919, Olga celebrated her 100th birthday this past Valentine’s Day . On becoming a centenarian, Olga credits her mother's good cooking with fresh-from-the-family-garden ingredients and being active all her life, from mowing the grass as a child to playing ball and golfing in her younger adult years to staying active today with daily walks
Enjoying a social lifestyle at Victory Centre of Vernon Hills may also be another secret to Olga's longevity.

Celebrating a Decade of Caring!
As Victory Centre of Galewood celebrated its 10th anniversary, three team members who were with the community since the beginning were honored for their service and commitment. Thank you to Julia Bueno, Barbara Hower and Joyce Selvy (pictured along with Galewood’s January Employee of the Month, Housekeeper Daniela Fita), who are true cornerstones of the Galewood senior living community.

Heartwarming Story from the POLAR VORTEX

During winter's extreme cold snap, several Pathway to Living team members stayed overnight at work to make sure the older adult residents in their care had hot meals, help with medications and other support as needed. Pus, they kept the good times rolling for everyone stuck indoors.
