We are very excited to announce the release of a suite of tools and methods Surge Learning offers as part of the comprehensive Quality and Risk Management System. Our scoreboard tool is highly flexible and effective in managing your organization's performance indicators. It keeps tabs on and trends information that matters to you; information you use to identify and address issues effectively. The Quality Improvement tools integrate indicator and audit data, organize your quality initiatives including the documentation of project meetings, and reporting to target audiences.

Education Highlights
 
Recently added education includes topics on:
  • Infection Prevention and Control Refresher
  • Workplace Violence and Harassment: Bill 132
  • Fire Safety and Emergency Evacuation
     
We are currently working on refreshing some of our Long-Term Care modules, and hope to release these in the near future. We are working on developing modules on Accessible Customer Service and Privacy. We are also excited about releasing the Physical Assessment refresher course for Registered staff. Programming Updates

Here are some new features added in our summer release:
  • the ability to track optional vs. required courses
  • ability to restore historic required records
  • ability to set required courses to repeat every 2 or 3 years.

We also added some other new functionality and some small fixes that can all be found under "Version Release" in our Help section.
