We have two more great finds to bring to you. The first is another great find on military surplus armor plates. These plates are Italian Army polyethylene plates rated NIJ Level III- that only weigh just over 3 pounds! They are half the weight of ceramic or steel plates. The second is more of the military chemical protective suits. The unique construction of these makes them great for many things, check the details below.

Italian Military Polyethylene Armor Plates
These plates are Italian Army issue from the the early 2000's. These are made from polyethylene making them really, really light- just 3.2 pounds per plate! Markings indicate they are rated for NIJ Level III, we tested several and they all stopped 5.56 and .308 just as a level III plate should, even the most heavily used one in the lot we picked to test worked as rated.

We have some lightly used/like new plates for $85 each and some more heavily used ones for $59- you won't find a better deal on polyethylene body armor plates anywhere.

These plates will fit and work in any of the plate carriers we sell also.
US Army Charcoal Lined Chemical Suits
These are the original US military chemical protective suits from the 1980's and 1990's, the ones everyone loved for use as great hunting suits or heavy duty work wear. They are charcoal lined and filter scent for a great hunting suit. They are also waterproof, very warm and very rugged so they are also great as winter workwear on a farm or homestead.
