SURPRISE, SURPRISE, SURPRISE!!! 1/26/25

14 And when she knew Peter's voice, she opened not the gate for gladness, but ran in, and told how Peter stood before the gate.
Surprise Surprise Surprise

In Acts 12, the Story is told of the Apostle Peter imprisoned:
Acts 12:5 (KJV)
5 Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.
“BUT PRAYER WAS MADE WITHOUT CEASING OF THE CHURCH UNTO GOD FOR HIM!!!!”
And, SUPRISE, SURPRISE, SURPRISE................... God ANSWERED that PRAYER!!
Acts 12:6-9 (KJV)
6 And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison.
7 And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.
8 And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me.
9 And he went out, and followed him; and wist not that it was true which was done by the angel; but thought he saw a vision.
The “funny” part is that WHEN God answered the Church's PRAYER, they, the disciples and followers of Jesus Christ were SURPRISED!!!???
Sometimes, WE forget that God really does HEAR our PRAYERS and ANSWERS!!!!

7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?

11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

In the midst of THIS grueling life, how GOOD and REFRESHING it is to US weary warriors to WIN ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As an avid Atlanta sports fan, I well know the agony of defeat!!! Can anyone remember 28-3?????? Sadly, if Atlanta had a swim team, they would most likely drown.......
It is sunny and WARMING here today in McDonough, GA!!! FINALLY, hope arises that better days are on the horizon-I REBUKE winter and snow IN JESUS NAME!!!

WE all need “a WORD in season to him that is WEARY!!!!” AMEN AND AMEN!!!
THIS life too often beats US down. The monotony of daily life/DAILY GRIND wears US down, too often UN-noticed. We somehow get used to losing..........................
AGAIN- WE all need “a WORD in season to him that is WEARY!!!!” AMEN AND AMEN!!!
It is also-SADLY-that WHEN we WIN ONE, fear appears. WE wonder WHEN and HOW satan will counter attack......
