The N.C. Department of Public Safety and the Governor’s Crime Commission are partnering with advisors representing sheriffs’ offices, police departments and state law enforcement agencies to explore factors impacting the recruitment of sworn officers in North Carolina.
We need your input.
Please complete this 15-minute survey by Feb. 7 and consider sharing it with team members who interact with new recruits:
- Law enforcement leaders, including department, division and unit heads
- Recruiters and trainers
- BLET directors and instructors
Responses will inform a strategic recommendation to address the factors that motivate prospects to pursue a career in law enforcement. The final report will be shared with law enforcement agencies across the state.
