Feedback Requested from Internal Comms

As you know, in 2023, most of CEA will still be working remotely but it is important that we remain connected to each other. For the last two years, we have surveyed staff to find out what was working and what we could do better. We listened, and we want to hear more!

Please take a brief time out of your day (5-6 minutes) to share your thoughts on how we can better improve our internal communication tools (staff meetings, newsletters, etc.) in this anonymous survey.

Did you know that most Americans (55%) feel sad or lonely this season to at least some degree?* Holidays can be hard. They may bring up bad memories, or you may feel as if you're outside looking in at people who are having a good time. We encourage family, friends, and loved ones to learn more about these challenges and take steps to practice self-care or look into resources that are available.

Here are some tips for dealing with the holidays:

  • Taking breaks and staying healthy will help you avoid feeling burned out. Make time for regular exercise, healthy eating, adequate sleep, and activities that are enjoyable and relaxing.
  • Maintaining your boundaries is important for your mental and emotional health. Know your limits. Slow down, simplify, and resist doing too much or over-committing yourself.
  • When the going gets tough, the tough ask for help. Don’t be shy about asking for and accepting help from others. Get help if you need it. Seek out family or friends for support. Community or church groups can help too. If things get bad, talk with your doctor or counselor.
