Sussex Avenue HSA Weekly Bulletin:
February 25-March 1
Monday is an "A" day.

A note from our Co-Presidents

Spring Clubs usually meet for six sessions. If school is closed on the day your child's club meets, the end date will be extended. Due to recent snow days, the final date for clubs which meet on Tuesday will be April 2nd and for clubs which meet on Wednesday the last day is now March 27th.

This week the students will participate in Read Across America. Each day involves a different celebration. Schedule as follows: Monday - wear green ("Green Eggs & Ham Day"), Tuesday - favorite hat ("Hats off for Kindness"), Wednesday - wear clothes backwards, inside out or mismatched ("Wacky Wednesday), Thursday - wear your favorite/silliest socks ("Fox in Socks") and Friday - Dress like your favorite book character ("Book Character Day"). Students are encouraged to bring in their favorite book too! See Mrs. Vacarro's newsletter for more information.

Upcoming Spring Events: Art/Science Fair, Parent/teacher softball game, Color Run, 5th grade party and Field Day! If you would like to help out in the planning of any of these events, please let us know!
