Monday is an "E" day.

A note from our Co-Presidents

On Saturday, under the direction of Mr. Marullo, the 5th grade bands from both Sussex Avenue and Thomas Jefferson schools performed at the St. Patrick's Day Parade. The 5th graders did a fantastic job! Thank you to Mr. Marullo for coordinating such a wonderful experience for our 5th graders.

Last Friday, the students shopped at our school store. Thank you to all our parent volunteers and to Lynn Gutkin and Joanna Mertz for organizing it.  Our next school store will take place in May. Details to follow.

On Wednesday, March 13th, author Mary Amato will be visiting Sussex Avenue to speak with our students about the writing process and the life of an author. For more information on Ms. Amato, please visit her website:

There will be an HSA meeting this week on Thursday, March 14th at 6:30pm in the library. Everyone is welcome. We look forward to seeing you!

The winning class was  Bruno  in 1 st  place, and a tie for 2 nd  place to  Johnson and Clark/Harris.  They will be celebrating on Friday, March 15 th  with a Pajama Day and Popcorn Party! Congrats and have fun!
ATTENTION 5th grade parents:

Our technology students could use some supplies for their carnival project. Please see below and let us know if you can contribute! Feel free to have the supplies shipped directly to Ms. Kelly's attention at the school!
