An Update on University Efforts to Address Systematic Racism at Princeton and Beyond
In a letter to the campus community, President Eisgruber outlines next steps the administration will take to address systemic racism, which involves both scholarly initiatives and management operations throughout Princeton University.

Princeton University a Host Institution for AASHE Virtual Conference
The Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education’s (AASHE’s) virtual Global Conference on Sustainability in Higher Education is the largest stage to exchange effective models, policies, research, collaborations and transformative actions that advance sustainability in higher education and surrounding communities. 

Princeton University is proud to be a Host Institution for this year's virtual conference. The conference will take place October 20-22, 2020.

As a host institution, all members of Princeton's campus community will be able to attend the conference free of cost. Sign-up now to receive more information and registration instructions!
COVID-19 and Sustainability Resources
We have compiled a list of resources to support Princeton University students, faculty and staff as they navigate challenges related to sustainability and COVID-19 at this moment in time. Resources include how to host a sustainable virtual event, sustainable vendor discounts, reusable mask tutorials and more!
Submit Your Favorite Outdoor Campus Spot for Upcoming Video Series
We are kicking off a new video series and we need your help! We are collecting stories from Princeton University students, faculty and staff about their favorite outdoor places on campus! 

Submit your favorite spot through our Google Form. Submissions will be accepted on a rolling basis.
Resource Recovery Reopens!
The Resource Recovery program helps conserve University resources, support sustainability efforts, and safely dispose of electronics and other items. 

Access to the warehouse is now by appointment only, due to COVID, yet appointments are available Monday through Friday, 8 am to 2 pm. To make an appointment, simply email resourcerecovery@princeton.edu.

The Office of Sustainability is pleased to present a new video series “Explore Nature” that features local wooded areas within a few miles of Princeton’s campus. Whether you're on campus or remote, we hope these videos are able to transport you to these natural areas and enjoy nature wherever you are!

Alumni News
The Office of Sustainability is launching several new initiatives with the aim to expand alumni outreach and career mentoring opportunities to make environmental careers more accessible to all Princeton University students.

We have several opportunities for alumni to support current students pursuing careers in various fields related to sustainability as well as sign-ups for news and information from campus. Your contact information will not be shared unless you indicate interest in one of our engagement opportunities.
Greening Reunions Alumni Working Group Update
This past spring, the Office of Sustainability kicked off an alumni initiative focused on advancing sustainability at Reunions. The new Greening Reunions Alumni Working Group, comprised of 11 members spanning nearly four decades of class years, will propose recommendations for ambitious policies and practices in alignment with the University’s 2019 Sustainability Action Plan, and advocate for change. The first event-wide recommendations will be advanced for endorsement in spring 2021, and implemented over the coming years. 
Inaugural Reunions Fantasy Decarbonization Draft
During this year’s virtual Reunions, a group of Princeton students and alumni came together over Zoom for the first ever Reunions Fantasy Decarbonization Draft, hosted by the Class of 2017. In groups of two, alumni - who spanned almost 60 years of graduating classes - selected technologies and policies in the style of a fantasy sports draft. The goal: assemble a roster of climate solutions to rapidly reduce global greenhouse gas emissions.
