Sugar Fest will be celebrating safely at the West Baton Rouge Museum! This sweet celebration of the sugar cane harvest is this Sunday, Oct 3! Enjoy live performances, historic games on the lawn, as well as Louisiana folk artists and musicians, tastes of sugar cane and sweet treats (and rum!), and a look inside the sugar industry. See the music line-up and plan to be on the Westside Sunday!

Walk on the Westside!

Take advantage of beautiful fall weather and take a walk on the Westside! From levee top pathways like the West Baton Rouge Heritage Trail to the Mississippi Riverfront Development, you will find amazing views and attractions along the way.

Enjoy the Harvest!

Poydras Bayou Farms will host its Annual October Festival, October 23. Get on your costumes, bring your lawn chairs and come for a day of pumpkins and cute critters at the Erwinville Community Center Ballpark. Proceeds go to local causes.

Be Merry Not Scary!

Join the West Baton Rouge Library & West Baton Rouge Museum for a Merry Not Scary Halloween. Dress up and come have a fun, safe night, October 22, from 6:30-8:30. Bring your blankets & lawn chairs to settle in for the movie starting at 7:30!
