Love Sweet Love!

It's what the world needs now.

You can see that love on frigid display this Saturday at the annual Polar Bear Jump.
Friends, neighbors and community members, warmed by full hearts and the encouragement of the crowd, will brave the icy waters of Goodyear Lake to raise money for a host of worthy recipients.
That's a selfless, bone-chilling love.

----

We hope you're among those lucky enough to share this Valentine's Day with someone you care deeply about.
And that together, you share the gift of your love with those around you.

It's a cliché...
But, no less true.
Love makes the world go 'round, and life worth living.

----

And those big and small acts of love - like a jump into frozen waters for someone else's benefit - should be celebrated and treasured as evidence of our humanity and compassion.

That's love.

Happy Valentine's Day!

We'll see you next Thursday.

2019 Polar Bear Jump
The Goodyear Lake Polar Bear Jump is a non-profit organization that annually raises money for local children, adults, and other local organizations. We complete this task by the many individuals that volunteer to jump into Goodyear Lake in Mid-February. In the month and a half prior to the jump, these individuals receive monetary donations from the surrounding area. We also engage in other fundraising endeavors in this time with the help of countless volunteers to afford the items needed to run the jump. The total amount raised within that year is divided among all of our recipients. We donate 100% of the funds raised to these recipients.
