Mike Herman, SoLo At Novelty Lounge
Mike Herman is a Country Blues musician from Schoharie county in the Northern Catskills. Mike's songs have a real down home, danceable quality to them. His rural tinged lyrics, bouncy melodies and solid fingerpicked guitar reflects his deep Piedmont Blues influences and the love he has for the Country Blues. Along with tasty guitar lines, the addition of bitter sweet vocals round out his songs nicely.

Study of the Fisher in NYS
Come and learn about the fisher in New York State. The fisher, also known as the 'fisher cat', is a large, dark, long-haired member of the weasel family. Fisher have large, wide feet with five toes on each foot and semi-retractable claws. This makes them well adapted for walking on snow, climbing trees and grasping and killing prey. They are capable of rotating their hind feet nearly 180º, which allows for a headfirst descent from tree.
