A Late
Christmas Gift
(For Someone)

If I may, I'd like to take advantage of my space this week to put the word out to anyone in the Oneonta area who is entrepreneurial, reliable, has some design skills,  enjoys working with the community, and wouldn't mind an extra 6-8 grand in their pockets during the Holiday Season.

I'm not getting younger and I've made a commitment to local politics, so I need to divest myself of some of my community promotions.

And I would dearly like to keep this local.

Interested?

So much for the sales pitch.

Thanks for allowing it.

In the meantime, as the calendar below will attest, it's another weekend of great entertainment!

Enjoy it!

Mike Herman is a Country Blues musician from Schoharie county in the Northern Catskills. Mike's songs have a real down home, danceable quality to them. His rural tinged lyrics, bouncy melodies and solid fingerpicked guitar reflects his deep Piedmont Blues influences and the love he has for the Country Blues. Along with tasty guitar lines, the addition of bitter sweet vocals round out his songs nicely.

Study of the Fisher in NYS
Come and learn about the fisher in New York State.  The fisher, also known as the 'fisher cat', is a large, dark, long-haired member of the weasel family. Fisher have large, wide feet with five toes on each foot and semi-retractable claws. This makes them well adapted for walking on snow, climbing trees and grasping and killing prey. They are capable of rotating their hind feet nearly 180º, which allows for a headfirst descent from tree.
