Happy giving season!! This is one of the most magical times of the year with much to celebrate!
Of course we're looking forward to Thanksgiving with endless Turkey and mashed potatoes, but also Hanukkah begins shortly afterwards on November 28th. After that Christmas is right around the corner, and before we know it, we will be ringing in 2022.
This year has certainly flown by, and my hope is that the new year brings more positivity to the world as we continue to navigate lots of major changes.
I'd like to take a minute to highlight this year's CURO Donation Drive:
As you know, each year we rally our CURO community together in support of a local organization that we see doing amazing things throughout the year. This year, we are running a donation drive for Philly Bully Team Rescue, a 501c(3) organization that takes on some of the biggest medical and neglect cases in the Philadelphia and surrounding areas, as well as from southern shelters. With over 70 foster pups in need, PHBT's mission is to rehabilitate and find FUR-ever homes not just for bully-breeds, but for all of our furry friends regardless of breed, type or temperament. In fact, they even have a few feline cases currently.
Below I've linked an Amazon wish-list, where all donations will ship directly to our office for us to deliver to PHBT this winter. PLEASE share this with all of your family and friends so that we can help support such an incredible organization. And who knows, maybe you'll even find your next furry family member along the way!
In Other News:
This month's blog, written by our very own Samantha McKee, highlights the importance of gratitude, and how having mindfulness around the parts of our lives that light us up is what helps us through the ups and downs. Being that we are in the Thanksgiving season, we'd love to hear from you. Send us what you are most grateful for this year!
Last, but not least, I'm sharing a recipe that hopefully works for everyone, including those with dietary restrictions. Add it to your Thanksgiving feast and let me know how you like it!
Happy Thanksgiving, Happy Hanukkah, and enjoy the season with your family and friends.
Until next time,
Marianna
