Senior Sweetheart Searching for shelter, love and a family
There’s been no interest to date on our sweet senior MACHO and things are getting desperate. MACHO is a Chessie mix that was found as a stray in Florida. He has been patiently been waiting a year for a home and a family of his very own. MACHO is so affectionate and just loves people (anyone and everyone).

MACHO is good with female dogs. His best friend in boarding is a Catahula dog named Jasmine. His favorite hobbies other than snuggling with humans and hanging out with other female dogs is to hunt frogs around the pond. Swimming is not his thing.

Even though he’s a senior he is more active in cooler weather. He’s crate trained. He might have been house trained but has been a kennel dog for over a year. He is a great traveler and is always up for a puppy dog car ride.

Located in APOPKA, FLORIDA. We can arrange transport to an out of state approved adopter!

Please call/text 941-650- 6717 or email us at whisperingoakschesapeakes@gmail.com AND southeastRD@cbrrescue.org for more information on this deserving love bug!

Hi guys! It’s me Rian just checking in to let everyone know I’m in a happy place now.

I’m having so much fun in the snow and just be a dog it’s great. I was given up because of some health issues I had. My biggest problem was having recurring UTIs.

My foster mom brought me to the vet again to see what was causing the issue and turns out I need to have surgery on my vulva to get rid of some excess skin. The surgery is estimated to be between $700-1100 and the rescue could use some help from donations to cover the cost.

I also would greatly appreciate it as these darn UTIs are no fun at all! I hate feeling like I have to go potty all the darn time.

Located near Omaha Nebraska.

Laney here to give you all a pupdate!

I was on my way to my foster home in North Dakota and on the way out the door I slipped down 25 steps on the ice. I seemed fine at first but that didn't last long.

I went to a veterinarian a couple times and they were able to see I had torn a ligament in my left knee. I am scheduled to have surgery on February 6. The surgery is estimated to be between $2,800-$3,200. I’m so excited to have my knee fix so I can feel like a young dog again.

My mind says let’s play and my knee says hold on we can’t. It’s so hard when my foster sister can go out in the fresh snow!

If you're able, please make a donation to the Diesel Fund to help me get my surgery!
