"Buy local" is part of the Jiffy Mart mission, explained Whitefield Jiffy Mart manager Wanda Ingerson. Jiffy Mart, which operates stores that sell groceries, sundries, fuel and ready-to-eat food in New Hampshire and Vermont, emphasizes both community and convenience. In addition to familiar national brands, the stores offer local products, like Fuller's Sugarhouse pure maple syrup and candy, that are of interest to local shoppers and visitors to the region.

When it comes to Fuller's Sugarhouse products, it's not just tourists who pick up maple products at Jiffy Mart. "Local shoppers really like maple candy," said Wanda, noting that maple candy sales are strong even in the winter, "they make great stocking stuffers."

The packaging, including Old Man of the Mountain and Maple Leaf motif items, makes the Fuller's Sugarhouse displays look good; and the products are fresh and high quality.  "We have a display right as people come in the door," said Lancaster Jiffy Mart manager Connie Chaffee, "so people see it right away. From syrup to lollipops, everybody likes Fuller's."
