Delegadu Mixer
Thursday, February 6, 2025
| |
On Thursday, February 6, 2025, we had the pleasure of hosting the 38th Guam Legislature at the Guam Chamber of Commerce Office in Hagatna. This event kick started the Chamber's Delegadu Program, and it was a great opportunity for Senators to connect directly with the Guam Chamber Board of Directors. It created an impactful open dialogue about the concerns and aspirations of the business community.
The Mixer not only brought attention to the important issues facing local businesses but also highlighted how essential legislative support is in tackling these challenges. Chamber Board of Directors were able to network, share their perspectives, and gain a better understanding of how the legislative process works. This event reinforced the vital relationship between government officials and the private business sector.
The atmosphere was filled with collaboration and a shared commitment from both the Board of Directors and Senators to work together for the sustainable development and economic success of Guam. It was a meaningful gathering that highlighted the importance of working together for our island's future. View more photos of this event!

Chamber Community Outreach
Jose Rios Middle School Career Day
| |
|
We had the honor to be invited to engage with 8th-grade students at Jose Rios Middle School today, for their Career Day event. This occasion provided a valuable opportunity for students to explore various career options and learn from community leaders. During the event, Catherine Castro, President of the Guam Chamber of Commerce provided information that outlined the structure of the Chamber and its members, focusing on how the Chamber runs on its day-by-day operations, as well as the importance of networking, mentorship, and education.
Her main focus taught students the importance of being a future business owner and the challenges they face in order for a business to thrive. We had a fantastic time with our future leaders and wish them much success in the years to come. Again, we would like to give our sincerest thanks to the faculty and staff at Jose Rios for this opportunity.
