     Live lobsters or cooked whole lobsters must be ordered at least 24 hours ahead, so call us by Feb. 12 noon to assure delivery for Friday Feb. 14. 630-887-4700. If you're waiting till Saturday to celebrate, call by noon on Friday. (Live lobsters are special orders and are not included in the sale.)

Our favorite salmon for the months when wild isn't available - good in any salmon recipe. We love it baked with some fresh bruschetta or pico de gallo and a healthy drizzle of our Lemon Dill Sauce. 

FRESH RUBY RED RAINBOW TROUT

We love this tasty trout with a nut crust - just grind up your favorites in a blender (we like pecans, almonds or pistachios), rub the fish with olive oil, spread the ground nuts over the fillets and bake or saute (medium high heat) for 10 minutes. In the oven you don't have to turn the fish, in a saute pan, start nut side down for 4 minutes, then flip to nut side up for the last 5 to 6 minutes.

     In late June we catered a fun event for a family in Wilmette - a combined 40th and 5th birthday party, father and son. Another father and son duo, Burhop's Chef Jaime and his son Jonny, cooked up kebabs, lobster tails, sweet corn and more for a happy crowd of many ages. According to the hostess:
