"GCAP is the only organization that specifically assists and serves all New Mexico women with gynecological cancers. We have the potential to reach over 500 women per year who have very limited resources available to them and look to grow our services to better serve the needs of women with gynecological cancers. We are a presence at community events educating the public about the prevention, screening and treatment of the different gynecological cancers affecting women of all ages, from those experiencing their first hormonal changes to our beloved grandmothers." - The GCAP Website, www.thegcap.org As a board member at large for the GCAP and a small business owner of the Albuquerque community, I am personally grateful for an opportunity to participate in an event and be a part of an organization the directly gives back to our community in a meaningful way through education and support.
