Sikhs forced to remove religious miniature swords in ongoing UK madness

On a train trip from France to the UK, Eurostar staff tried to aggressively intimidate a Sikh family wearing traditional miniature swords (Kirpan) that they carry at all times as part of their religious heritage (though as a side note, probably ignored other customers metal pens, belts and other potential improvised weapons - including fists and feet of trained martial artists, boxers or MMA fighters). Where will it all end?


Ancient 2ft copper blade found by Metal Detectionist in UK

Surprising they did not send in a SWAT team or it's equivalent the way things are going there, but a UK metal detectionist found a 2' bronze blade, one of only two ever found, while engaging in his hobby. Exceptional find, and good luck he hasn't been arrested..


Museum with 550 swords opens in Nagoya, Japan

It's not exactly clear if its 550 swords from the Warring States period or 200 and 350 other items of war (such as muskets, armor, etc) but either way, it's impressive and well worth a visit to this newest Samurai themed Museum in central Japan.


700 Viking Swords on Display in Norway

Not be outdone by Nagoya, the Viking Age Exhibition in Trondheim is about to display 700 of the 3000 odd Viking swords they have discovered over the years, highlighting the raw skill and amazing artisans in a way that shows that the Dark Ages wasn't as uncivilized and barbaric as some historians want you to think it is.
