Video of the Month

Most of you already know it, but sword fighting in the movies is almost always not like the real thing. But in what ways is it really different? Obviously in a HEMA match, you ARE actually trying to hit your opponent, while in the movies you want to make it look like you are trying to hit the opponent, but definitely do not want to make contact. But the differences are much deeper than that, mythbusting common movie tropes, examining some great fight scenes in detail and much more.

The highlight, definitely the analysis of THAT fight scene in the Witcher..

Hope you enjoyed the July edition of the Sword Buyers Digest. Until next time, Happy Swordening all!
